Qualcomm leaps forward on list of largest semi suppliers. Qimonda down 12 positions.

Qualcomm Inc. used a 27 percent year-over-year growth rate to jump to ninth among the largest semiconductor suppliers through the first three quarters of 2008, while DRAM-supplier Qimonda dropped 12 positions from 18 to 30 overall, according to market research firm IC Insights Inc.
